Prime News: First At 5:30 brings you the top news and sports stories from New Zealand and around the world. 

The bulletin is backed by the worldwide resources of Sky News, and is anchored by veteran broadcaster Eric Young, with Suzy Clarkson and Ross Karl presenting sport.

Prime’s political coverage is spearheaded by Political Editor Barry Soper, the longest serving reporter in the Press Gallery.

Prime News: First At 5:30 is broadcast from SKY’s Albany news centre seven days a week.
