In the second episode the Doctor takes Amy to the distant future, where she finds Britain in space! Starship UK houses the future of the British people, as they search the stars for a new home. But as Amy explores she encounters the terrifying Smilers and learns a deadly truth inside the Voting Booth. 

Throughout this series Amy Pond and the Doctor go on some truly extraordinary adventures travelling to 16th-century Venice, exploring France during the 1890s and visiting the United Kingdom in the far future, now an entire nation floating in space.

However the Doctor's enemies are never far behind him, including old nemeses the Daleks and Weeping Angels, plus new monsters such as alien vampires, and a silent menace that follows the Doctor and Amy wherever they go.
