Presented by Judy Bailey, the most iconic of New Zealanders, this new season of Decades In Colour travels all the way from the war-torn 1940s to the tumultuous 1980s, discovering stories about HOME, WORK and PLAY, from the inside out.

Conducting another nationwide search for home-shot colour footage, this NZ On Air Platinum Funded series weaves together home movies, personal anecdotes and communal memories of the different ways Kiwis worked, lived and played.

From a lighthouse keeper to an early professional skateboarder, to an inner city apartment dweller and back to a war-time female tram driver, the new season of Decades In Colours presents a cast of extraordinary “ordinary” storytellers to tell an unofficial but very real and delicious slice of Kiwi history.
